Abstract
PURPOSE:To converge a bias potential produced by transmission error to zero, by making a quantized value to -1 when the difference between an input value and an estimated value is zero. CONSTITUTION:An input value xn is converted into a differential value en between said value xn and an estimated value xn obtained based on a coded value Pn. After the value en is quantized at a quantizer 2, it is coded. As the characteristics of the quantizer 2, the quantized value Qn is assigned to -1 when the valueen is 0. Thus, even if the inversion of bits takes place because of trasnmission error and the data is biased as a decoding side, the biased value is reduced and transmitted with a normal level by transmitting Qn=-1.
