Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable data conversion suitably for the data word such as in 4-bits which is most conventional, by giving at least two "0"s between two "1"s adjacent with each other, in converting data word in 4-bits into code word in 8-bots.
CONSTITUTION: A 4-bits data words P3P2P1P0 is coded into a 8-bit code word ABCDEFGH for transmission, and the code word in 8-bits is decoded into the data word in 4-bit at reception side. Further, "1" and "0" are combined in response to decimal notation (0)W(15) in the data word. The rule of this conversion that at least two "0"s are present between adjacent two "1"s. Moreover, if "0" is present only for 1-bit, two "0"s are made present between adjacent "1"s with degeneracy as shown in fig. (a). Thus, most conventionally 4-bits or its double multiple data words can suitably be converted.
