Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent omission of detecting an error of a data, by providing a gate circuit on a PCM data output of a data separating circuit, and closing the gate while a dropout canceling circuit is operated. CONSTITUTION:When a dropout occurs, a dropout detector 23 is operated, and it is informed to a dropout switch 25 and a gate control signal generator 34. The switch 25 is connected to the side of a 1H delaying circuit 26, and as a result, a data of 1H before, which is regarded as an error naturally is outputted to a video output terminal 31. On the other hand, the gate control signal generator 34 outputs a gate control signal 33 so as to close an output gate circuit 32, and all the data to be outputted to a data output terminal 2 become ''0'', as long as the dropout is detected.
