Abstract
PURPOSE: To regulate winding tension at a constant value irrespective of the positions of a ring rail of a ring twisting machine when thread yarns are wound by the latter, by correctingly controlling the rotational speed of a spindle, corresponding to the vertical mortion of the ring rail.
CONSTITUTION: A spindle speed adjusting device 1 generates a signal for setting the middle value of the spindle speeds at each winding rate. The position of a ring rail is detected by a petensiometer 2. The difference in the spindle speed between the position detected and the upper or lower position where the ring rail has been previously positioned is transformed into an electrical signal for disturbing the spindle speed. Signals generated from the spindle speed adjusting device 1 and a spindle speed changing device 3 are transmitted to a spindle speed control 4 for controlling the rotational speed of a variable speed motor 5 in response to the signals.
