The control circuit 9 controls the frequency dividing ratio in response to the signal from a coil pattern setter, and divides the frequency of the signal from the detector 11 by the divider 12. A pulse motor 14 for driving a flier is controlled in response to the output signal from the divider 12. In this manner, the peripheral length of the coil can be accurately controlled. Accordingly, the coil can be ideally contained in the slot, thereby enhancing the space factor of the coil in the slot.
