Abstract

PURPOSE:To constitute a slot line type resistive terminator easily, by forming a resistor on a face of a dielectric substrate opposite to the face provided with a slot line and facilitating setting the resistance value due to trimming. CONSTITUTION:A slot line 2 is constituted by a slot between conductor layers 2a provided on one face of a dielectric substrate 7, and a resistance film 4 is provided on the other face of the substrate 7 to intersect the slot line 2 so that a slot line 3 of the 1/4 wavelength with the tip short-circuited is formed between an input port 1 at one end of the slot line 2 and a short-circuit point at the other end. Microstrip lines 6 of approximately odd multiples of the 1/4 wavelength are provided at both ends of the resistance film 4, and the resistor 4 is connected in parallel to the slot 2.
