CONSTITUTION:The respective optical fibers 4, 5 and 6 for input, output and branch use are inserted into and are tightly fixed to cylindrical bodies 7, 8 and 9 whose expansion degree is small and whose weather resistance is good, such as stainless steel, ceramic, etc., the respective coupling end parts of an input cylindrical body 1 and an output cylindrical body 2 are cur off to the extent of slightly exposing the optical fibers 4, 5, also the end of the output optical fiber 5 is ground to 45 degrees together with the cylindrical body 8 so that an inclined end is formed, and a semitransparent film or a wavelength filter film is formed on said surface. After that, a coupling end part 16 of a branching cylindrical body 3 is fitted into the cutoff coupling end part of said input cylindrical body 1 and the output cylindrical body 2, and they are tightly fixed in one body by use of an adhesive agent having the almost same refractive index as that of the optical fiber core.
