Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a high power without increasing height of a windmill, by substantially horizontally supporting a sun shaft of the captioned windmill with a table which can pivot about an axial centre vertical with respect to the sun shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A rotation force is exerted on a cylindrical body 8 through a planetary shaft 10 and a flange 9 by allowing a blade 11 to receive a wind pressure. When the planetry shaft 10 is revoluted around a sun shaft 5, permitting the cylindrical body 8 to rotate, a generator 20 is driven. When a direction of wind changes, a table 2 is pivoted about a pivot bearing part 3 in accordance with the change in such a way that the generator 20 is always rotated and driven close to the rating number of revolution to take a posture being capable of receiving wind. Therefore, even if the vertical dimension (a) of the blade 11 is large while the longitudinal dimension (b) is small, a sufficiently high power windmill can be provided, which leads to reduction of dimension (r) as well overall height (h) of the windmill.
