Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a motive power for electric generation, etc. by providing a rotary output shaft, etc. at a right angle with a wave proceeding direction and converting a wave force to a rotary power.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary output shaft 5 is almost horizontally installed in a direction where a wave proceeding direction and an axial line cross at almost right angle. A cylindrical hollow buoy 6 is mounted between the lower ends of right and left moving elements 8, 8' which are fixed in a protuberant fashion on right and left support shafts 7, 7' axially mounted on the afore-mentioned rotary output shaft 5 in a freely movable way. A direction where the moving elements 8, 8' are installed in a protuberant fashion on the support shafts 7, 7' crosses at almost right angle with the rotary output shaft 5 and faces obliquely downward. Consequently, the right and left moving elements 8, 8' move centering around the rotary output shaft 5 around which the right and left support shafts 7, 7' rotate. Thus it is possible to obtain a ortary power which can be utilized for electric generation, etc.
