Abstract
PURPOSE: To induce swirling gaseous flow by the utilization of the ascending gaseous flow of stack gas and separate dust with power-less and simple mechanisms by providing plural inclined guide vanes within a stack gas cylinder, and disposing an annular groove on the outside circumference of the cylinder in the post stage thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The smoke contg. fire powder and combustion dust ascending in a stack gas cylinder 1 passes through inclined guide vanes 5 in a swirling flow generating cylinder 2 and forms swirling flow. The fire powder and combustion dust of heavy specific gravities are moved upward along the inside surface of an inverted funnel-shaped guide cylinder 6 by centrifugal force, and is attracted into an annular groove 7 under negative pressure, thence through a discharge port 11, they are sucked into a dust separating cylinder 10 and are accumulated in a dust bunker 13. The waste gas sucked together with fire powder and combustion dust through the port 11 is removed of dust in the cylinder 10, and is discharged into the cylinder 1 through a discharge pipe 12. Negative pressure is developed in the groove 7 by the effect of this pipe 12, so that the fire powder and the like are sucked efficiently.
