Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep the temperature of an incineration constant in case where various kinds of wastes are burned in the same incinerator by supplying each of wates at a given ratio all the time and also controlling the amounts of other wastes to be charged, when the amounts of one or more wastes being charged are varied, according to the variation. CONSTITUTION:At the start-up of an incinerator, an auxiliary fuel F is first supplied from a supply tube 21 to a burner 10 and burned, and then solid wastes 2 in a hopper 1 and slurried wastes in a tank 7 are supplied to a furnace 9 and burned. Then, when the spontaneous combustion of the wastes becomes possible, valves 22 and 23 are switched to use waste oil in a waste oil tank 20 as a fuel for the burner 10, and a rotary feeder 6, a valve 8, and the main valve 25 are regulated by a control unit 30 in such a way as to keep the supply ratio of each waste containing waste oil at a given value. Afterwards, in case where the supply ratio of each waste is not kept constant due to the increase or decrease in the amounts of wastes being treated, the amounts of other wastes to be supplied are increased or decreased to keep the temperature of the incinerator at a set value.
