Abstract

PURPOSE:To incinerate excrements, sludge, etc. efficiently and at a low cost, by a method wherein used tyres together with oil fuel are fed to a fluidized portion of a fluidizing heat medium in a fluidized incinerator. CONSTITUTION:When operations necessary to incinerate are performed, the inside of an incinerator 2 and a fluidized combustion chamber 2a is kept in a negative pressure state by driving an exauster (not shown), a fluidizing heat medium 6 comprising sands and the like in a furnace is fluidized by driving a blower to form a fluidized bed. Oil fuel is jetted from burners 12 and 13 for burning by actuating an oil pump under a state described above, and used tyres T are also fed to a grate by means of a tyre feeder for burning thereat. The oil fuel and the used tyres are controlled so as to bear their respective heat value in the ratio of about 30 percent to about 70 percent thereupon. When combustion chambers 2 and 2a are heated to their respective given temperature, a charging pump 40 is activated, whereby excrements, sludge and the like are poured down through a nozzle 18 for incinerating.
