Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a harmful gas from being produced when used tire, vinyl, etc. are treated by a method wherein a dry distillation gas is generated as heating and decomposing an inflammable waste product, and the dry distillation gas is fed into a combustion chamber to burning. CONSTITUTION:When a waste oil is fed through an oil feeding pipe 14 and fired to burning in a burner 10, a combustion gas in a combustion chamber 9 is circulated to a lower position of a furnace 1 through a hot blast injection hole 4 by way of an exhaust pipe 20 and a hot blast chamber 2, a used tire fed into the furnace 1 is heated to decomposition, and thus a dry distillation gas is generated. When the dry distillation gas is ready for generation satisfactorily in the furnace, feeding of the waste oil through the oil feeding pipe 14 is stopped. The dry distillation gas generated in the furnace 1 is sucked by a blower 18, burned in the burner 10, and a dry distillation of the used tire continues in the furnace 1. The gas burned thoroughly in the combustion chamber 9 heats a heat exchanger 21 and is then discharged externally.
