Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate adjustment of a resonance frequency, by means of a frame in which beltlike convexities and concavities are formed at a part of or a full circumference of a vibrating part. CONSTITUTION:A detector is placed at a cylinder block by means of a screw part 21a, and a knocking vibration is transferred to a vibration object 22 via a housing 21. Only a driving-in part 21c of the vibrating object 22 is secured, and the vibrating object 22 vibrates in a manner to add a natural vibration of a vibrating part 22a itsel thereto. Meanwhile, magnetic paths 23, 24, a coil 27, and a magnet 25 are monolithically and firmly united with the housing 21, whereby only the vibration part 22a vibrates relatively corresponding to a knocking vibration, and a distance of a gap G changes. This causes changing of the number of magnetic fluxes in the magnetic paths. The change in the magnetic flux is detected as a voltage by means of the coil 27, and is outputted to a knocking circuit 3 via a lead of a connector 29. The resonance frequency of the vibrating object 22 is set within a knocking frequency band by equivalently changing the radius of the vibrating part 22a through the changing of a diameter of a frame part 22b produced resulting from the formation of a beltlike convex and concave part on the vibrating part 22a.
