Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A detector 2 is fixed to a cylinder block by screwing into screw section 25a. Knocking vibration occurring to the cylinder block is transmitted via housing 25 to a reed 21a, which, because it is fixed at one end, vibrates according to the strength of this vibration's frequency. In this occasion, the response of the reed 21a is particularly large for vibrational force having frequency components near the natural frequency of the reed 21a.
