Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a high speed printer which has no noise, does not wear out, has no need of oiling and has dynamic ballancing by a method wherein a printing head is installed on a fixed bed in a specific condition through a equivalent mass body and elastic materials and vibration due to sweeping of the printing head is supressed.
CONSTITUTION: An end 11a of a connecting lever 11 is fixed by clipping between elastic rubbers 13, 13' which are fixed on the printing head 12, and another end 11b of the connecting lever 11 is fixed by clipping between elastic rubbers 14, 14' which are fixed on the equivalent mass body 16. A shaft 15 which supports the lever 11 to be free to rotate is installed on a fixed bed. The printing head 12 and the equivalent mass body 16 is forced to vibrate in reverse phase with one another by the connecting lever 11. The printing head 12 is swept in left and right direction by a driving mechanizm and a resonant point exists in the range upto 31/2 times as large as frequency of a natural frequency (sweeping frequency), but because the printing head 12 and the balancing mass body 16 vibrates in reverse phase, there is no abnormal vibration.
