Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a resistance welding machine of good rise characteristics of welding current by connecting the primary side of one of welding transformers to an AC-DC power source, and connecting the primary side of the other welding transformer to an AC power source via a bidirectional SCR at the polarity reversed from that of the primary side of the former transformer.

Namely, voltage is induced on the secondary side of a welding transformer 10 but since the primary side of a welding transformer 11 is open, no voltage is induced in the secondary side.
