These difference components are converted to striking angles of thyristors 6 and 7, and striking angles of thyristors 6 and 7 are so controlled that the effective value of the current power source becomes the set current value in the next half or one cycle of the welding secondary current, and power is supplied. This control is repeated similarly to hold the welding current constant.
