Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramic piezoelectric element having high sensitivity by attaching an electrode with piezoelectric ceramic body finishing polarization treatment having porous interior connection type fine configuration. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic body 1 having porous interior connection type fine configuration formed by utilizing abnormal expansion phenomenon at the baking time is used to be polarized. A pair of electrodes 2a, 2b are formed on a pair of surfaces having perpendicular relation with respect to the polarizing direction, and a high sensitivity ceramic piezoelectric element is formed, where the ceramic body is formed of Pb (ZrxTi1-x)O3(x=0-0.9), an insulating substance 3, e.g., resin is injected to control the various characteristics. Then, an underwater supersonic receiver, a hydrophone, a piezoelectric igniter, a pressure sensor, a supersonic flaw detector, etc. can employ it.
