Abstract

PURPOSE: To securely accomplish a servo function with a motor of a relatively low output by a method wherein a servo valve is made to be a rotary type and a feedback mechanism is so designed as to convert a rectilinear motion into a rotational motion, the valve being reset by the force of the rotational motion.
CONSTITUTION: When the rotary part of the rotary-type servo valve 14 is rotated leftward or rightward by a motor 15, a piston 19 is moved relatively powerfully by a hydraulic pressure in the direction of an arrow C or D, according to the change-over function of the valve 14 corresponding to the direction of rotation. Concurrently with this, a shaft 20 is gradually rotated leftward or rightward through the feedback mechanism 21, and the valve 14 is gradually returned to its neutral position. Accordingly, the piston 19 is moved in the direction of the arrow C or D by an amount which corresponds to the amount of rotational displacement of the motor 15. As a result, a powerful rectilinear motive force is outputted from a piston 23 in accordance with the rotational input supplied from the motor 15, thereby accomplishing the servo function.
