Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve accuracy of stopping and positioning of a piston rod by damping the piston rod while arbitrarily combining a first damping by sub- solenoid changeover valves with a second damping by a solenoid break.
CONSTITUTION: Auxiliary solenoid changeover valves 17, 18 are provided on a first damping line 15, and a second damping line 16, while a solenoid break 7, a rotary encoder 8 are connected to a piston rod 4 through a ball nut 5 and a ball spring shaft 6. Output from the rotary encoder 8 is input to a main solenoid changeover valve 13, the auxiliary solenoid changeover valves 17, 18 and a controller 19 which controls the solenoid break 7. It is therefore possible to optimumly damp the piston rod 4 according to operation sections by arbitrarily combining the first damping by the auxiliary solenoid changeover valves 17, 18 with the second damping by the solenoid beak 7 and thereby to improve accuracy of stopping and positioning of the piston rod 4.
