Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of processed dimensions and to increase the capacity of an equipment, by a method wherein an permanent magnet and a yoke are bonded and fitted in a prescribed manner and then are processed to form a prescribed shape with prescribed dimensions by a wire-cut electrospark machining. CONSTITUTION:For instance, a block of a permanent magnet 2 is fixed to a prescribed position of a yoke 1 by bonding or the like without deteriorating its magnetic properties. Said composition is fixed on a processing table 5 and is faced to a wire electrode 6 which moves to the direction of arrows. Then a wire-cut electrospark machining is performed by processing pulses applied between the wire electrode 6 and the processed permanent magnet 2. The processing table 5 is driven by motors 7, 8 and the motors 7, 8 are controlled by a signal from an NC controller 9 so that the permanent magnet 2 is processed to form a prescribed shape. With the above method the accuracy of processed dimensions is improved and the capacity of said magnet fitted equipment is improved.
