CONSTITUTION:When a switch SW2 is switched to the (b) side and the (d) side, a composite video signal is applied to a picture display device 4 through a processing circuit 3, also simultaneously said device 4 through a synchronizing separating circuit 6 and a deflecting circuit 7. Meanwhile, when the SW2 is switched to the (a) side and the (c) side, the composite video signal is applied to the device 4 through circuits 6 and 7, also simultaneously a video signal generating circuit 5 for composite video signal display and is compared with a saw tooth wave corresponding to a vertical deflection current obtained from the circuit 6 to obtain a video signal. This video signal is applied to the device 4 through the circuit 3. As the result, the composite video signal waveform and a normal television picture are displayed respectively.
