Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid jitter toward vertical direction of screen and the deterioration in horizontal resolution, by selecting the 1st to the 4th video signals according to the reference field and obtaining the video signal having the field sequence of NTSC. CONSTITUTION:A reproduced color video signal fro reproduced one field's share is fed to a comb type filter 1. An output Y' of the filter 1 and a chroma signal C+y are fed to an adder 4 via delay lines 2, 3 for timing adjustment. Further, the signal C+y is fed to an adder 6 via a frequency-phase converter 5 and added with the output Y' of the delay line 2. The output of the adders 4, 6 is fed to the contacts (a), (b) of switches 7, 8 and the output of the switch 7 is fed to the contact (a) of a switch 11 via a 1H delay line 9 and the output of the switch 8 is added 10 as it is and fed to the same. Further, the output of the switch 7 is inputted to the contact (b) of the switch 11 as it is. Thus, from the output of the switch 11, the color video signal having the field sequence of NTSC can be obtained.
