Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a recording medium which can easily be formed and withstands the long-time use with a low hygroscopic degree and high stability to ultraviolet rays, by producing a transparent substrate with the resin consisting mainly of the vinyl chloride resin and furthermore forming a transparent acrylic film on the surface opposite to the information structure of the substrate of a medium. CONSTITUTION:The optical information 2 is formed unevenly at the single side of a substrate made of the transparent vinyl chloride resin, and a metallic film 3 of Al, etc. is formed on an information surface 2 to increase the reflectance. This substrate 1 is united to a vinyl chloride substrate 1' which is produced in the same way as the substrate 1 and adhering a metallic film 3' via an adhesive layer 4. Finally, acryllic thin films 5 and 5' are adhered to the outer surfaces of the substrate 1 and 1' respectively. In such way, an optical recording medium which can easily be formed with a low hygroscopic degree and withstand the long-time use with high stability to the ultraviolet rays can be obtained with no effect so much of the eliminating degree of moisture.
