Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a matte paint film of superior adhesiveness and abrasion resistance by coating an energy ray curing type matting composition consisting of specific weight ratios on a substrate and warming and heating the same at specific temps., then irradiating energy ray.
CONSTITUTION: An energy ray curing type matting composition consisting of 45W 99.5% an energy ray curing type resin (epoxy type, acrylic type, urethane type, etc.) contg. an energy ray sensitive sensitizing agent, 0.5W35wt% a matting agent (finely ground silicic acid powder, calcium carbonate, alumina white, silica, etc.) and 0W20wt% a solvent is coated on a substrate. Next, the composition is warmed and heated for 0.5W60sec at 30°CW150°C so that the matting agent floats on the top layer or the surface of the paint film and matte effect is obtained. As the 3rd process, energy ray such as ultraviolet ray or electron beam is irradiated to the matting composition on the coated object thereby allowing said composition to cure.
