Abstract

PURPOSE: To save the consumption of heat energy by a method in which a slurried paint of a thermosetting epoxy resin, epoxy-polyester resin, or polyester resin series is coated as the first layer, and while the first layer is uncured, a thermosetting acrylic resin slurried paint is coated as the second layer on the first layer.
CONSTITUTION: As the first layer, a slurried paint of a thermosetting epoxy, epoxypolyester resin, or polyester resin series, haing a surface tension (when being melted for coating) of 2 dyne/cm or more higher than that of paint to be coated as the csecond layer, is coated, and while the first layer is uncured, a thermosetting acrylic resin slurried paint is coated as the second layer on the uncured first layer 1. The layer is allowed to stand for about 5W20min after coating and heated at about 160W190°C for about 15W45min for hardening. Thus, the hardened two layers coat is obtained.
