Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to control properly the time of completion of boiling by a method wherein when the captioned solar heat hot well is provided with a storage tank having an auxiliary heat source capable of performing additional heating, the time of starting the automatic additional heating through the auxiliary heat source is delayed in proportion to the quantity of hot water remained in the storage tank. CONSTITUTION:A solar heat collecting circuit including a heat collector 2, a heat exchanger 3 and a circulation pump 4 is connected to the hot water storage tank 1 having the auxiliary heat source 5. The operation of the circulation pump 4 is controlled by a differential temperature thermo circuit 13 through a relay 14 in response to the difference between temperatures detected by temperature detecting elements 6 and 7. The auxiliary heat source 5 operates when an auxiliary heat source drive circuit 20 is supplied with electricity through a contact 19 which is made to turn ON by a timer 24. In this case, the quantity of the hot water remaining in the storage tank 1 and kept at a temperature set by a remaining hot water temperature setting volume 16 is detected by temperature detecting elements 9-11 and a remaining hot water quantity detecting circuit 15, and an operation circuit 17 operates a proper delay time corresponding to the quantity of the hot water remaining in the tank so that a drive circuit 20 is controlled in response to the delay time.
