Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the introduction of a sample of a comparatively large volume, by keeping once the sample in a part of a region having a wide diameter on the upper part of a fractionating column and introducing properly the sample kept to a fixed phase with an ascent and descent operation of a slide stopcock type introducing head. CONSTITUTION:A filler is filled in a fractionating column 1 and a stationary phase is formed. A slide stopcock type introducing head 7 for introducing a moving phase solvent is prepared on the upper part of the fractionating column 1 so as to contact with the upper surface of the stationary phase 6. The above mentioned head 7 has a path 8 for passing a liquid for dispersing and introducing a liquid, and the lower end of the path 8 for passing a liquid opens toward the lower surface of the head 7, further the upper end is connected with a feeding part for a moving phase solvent. Further on the outer peripheral part of the above mentioned head 7 a seal means such as an O ring is disposed, and the head 7 ascends and descends upward and downward by a descent and ascent operating part. On the other hand, the upper part of the fractionating column 1 is formed more largely than a diameter of the head 7, and a sample is kept in a space part 10 surrounded with the inner wall of the upper part of the fractionating column 1 including said wide diameter region 1a and an upper wall of the head 7, and into the space part 10 a sample is introduced from a sample feeding pipe 11.
