Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a centrifugal dust collector to reduce the pressure loss and at the same time to operate dust removal.
CONSTITUTION: In this dust collector, cleaning gas discharge exit 3 is provided on top wall 2 of vertical cylinder 1, circular plate 4 is provided at the lower part, slit 5 is provided on the outer edge of the circular plate 4, and a dust-contained gas inlet is provided on the upper side of vertical cyinder 1 in its tangential direction. Dust- contained gas enters inlet 6 and moves in the direction of arrow A. In cylinder 1, the gas turns in the direction of arrow B and falls, then it turns upward as it hits circluar plate 4. During this time, the dust contained in the gas is brought into contact with the inner wall of cylinder 1 and loses its moving force and falls along the inner wall and is separated from the dust-contained gas. Then the dust falls from slit 5 and is removed. In this invention, the removal of dust can be easily done by pulling up-down rod 7 downward and thereby pulling circular plate 4 downward and sealing narrow circular part 10 and conic part 11.
