Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve both a high gamma and narrow exposure latitude characteristic to the charging development, by carrying out an even exposure before or after irradiating an optical image to a photoconductive memory material. CONSTITUTION:An image exposure is carried out to a recording material 1 having the photoconductive memory effect by means of an original image exposure device 8, and thus a corresponding photoconductive pattern is formed on the image. After this, an even exposure lamp 9 is evenly irradiated. Then the DC voltage is applied to a conductive development roll having an internal magnet 10 and holding a conductive toner 5. Thus the photoconductive pattern on the material 1 is developed and transcribed to a transfer paper 12 by a transfer corotron 11. Then the fixing is performed by a fixing device 13 to obtain a reproduced copy. In such a way, the intermediate tone and the consecutive tone wedge can be reproduced with nearly in the perfect correspondence to the original image.
