Plating is applied to these electrodes 13 and 13', and the resonance frequency of an element 12 is controlled by the mass effect of the plating. After this, both an opening part and the window 14' of the container 14 are sealed up with sealing plates 18 and 19, respectively. In such constitution, boty the plating and its subsequent cleansing can be thoroughly carried out since the plating is applied to the electrodes 13 and 13' through both the opening and the window 14' at the upper part of the container 14. As a result, the aging fault caused by the residue of plating solution can be prevented.
