Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize a miniature IC chip which requires the capacitor with reduced number of the component parts by providing more than one or two capacitors on the back of the IC chip with the capacity ratio set to nearly 1/2n(n: natural numbers) between these two capacitors.
CONSTITUTION: The capacitor is added to the IC chip in the following method: electrode 3 of Mo or the like of one side is coated on the back of Si substrate 1 incorporating IC circuit 2; and then Al electrode 5 of the other side is coated on electrode 3 via dielectric 4 such as Ba2TiO4 or the like to constitute a capacitor. Otherwise, Al electrode 9 which is divided to secure 1:1/2:1/4:1/8 for the capacitor capacity is formed on Mo electrode of one side to be the common electrode via TiO-group dielectric 8. Thus, the capacitor is added to the IC chip, which can be applied suitably to the frequency adjustment circuit of the capacitor crystal oscillation circuit.
