Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a three-phase throwing capacitance composite tester than enables tests equivalent to direct tests by installing a voltage source transformer that supplies specified three-phase voltage and current and a short-circuit transformer. CONSTITUTION:A current source circuit in which a short-circuit generator 1, a short-circuit transformer 4 and a trigger gap switch 6 are conected in series, a voltage source transformer 8 that supplies high voltage branching from the connecting point of a protective breaker 2 and a current limiting reactor, and a voltage source circuit in which high impedance 9 is connected in series, are connected in parallel to a breaker to be tested, and a detector 7 that detects minute current is installed in the voltage circuit. After generation of pre-arc in the breaker 5, specified current is supplied by the trigger gap switch without delay. Thus, by using the power source separately for voltage and current by time using the trigger gap, testing capacity equivalent to enlargement by several times existing short-circuit testing equipment can be obtained.
