Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the repeated extraction of a dissolved gas in a liquid with a higher solubility by connecting a cylinder chamber of a reciprocating piston unit to a degasification vessel so as connect the cylinder chamber to a vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION:A piston 7b of a reciprocating piston unit 7 is moved to the right with a differential pressure piston unit 20 to open valves 5 and 8 and a three-way changeover valve 9 is actuated to communicate a cylinder chamber 7a and gas sample tubes 14a and 14b to a vacuum pump 10. When the cylinder chamber 7a and the like attain a specified vacuum state, the changeover valve 9 is switched over to let an electrically insulating oil in a sample oil extractor 4 flow into a degasification vessel 1 and actuate an agitator 2 to separate and release a dissolved gas. At this point, the valve 5 is closed and as the piston 7b moves, the dissolved gas is forcibly transferred into the gas sample tubes 14a and 14b. The degasification extraction of the dissolved gas is repeated by repeating this procedure. A carbon-black-free synthetic rubber gasket 7c incorporated into the piston 7b eliminates the mixing of hydrogen gas.
