Abstract

The vacuum pump which can be used in vacuum drying devices, comprises an intake pipe (36) connected to a chamber to be evacuated located above a pair of cylinders (35) containing a liquid. Inside each cylinder (35) there is arranged an internal cylinder (31), and the cylinders (35) are in communication with a tank of liquid (39) by the intermediary of two inlet valves (47). This pump further comprises two air-separation chambers (51) the lower part of which is located inside each internal cylinder (41), and the upper part of which extends into a cooling chamber (52). The cooling chamber (52) is connected to the tank (39) by pipes (62) each fitted with a non-return valve (61). <IMAGE>
