Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform perfect combustion of an engine and prevent occurence of its black smoke, by controlling a fuel injection pump in accordance with a result of comparing the amount of fuel required for the perfect combustion at detected speed of the engine with the amount of fuel corresponding to preset speed of the engine from a control handle. CONSTITUTION:To detect rotary speed of an engine 3, a speed detector 2 is provided in the vicinity of a flywheel 9 and its output signal is input to a perfect combustion fuel amount calculator 4. The calculator 4 calculates the amount of fuel capable of perfect combustion at input speed to output a fuel actuator position R* corresponding to said amount of fuel. While a handle setting fuel amount calculator 5 calculates a difference between preset engine speed with a control handle 1 and detected engine speed and calculates the fuel amount for said difference to become minimum to output a fuel actuator position R. These positions R*, R are compared by a comparator 6, thus the injection amount of a fuel injection pump 8 is controlled by said compared result through a fuel actuator 7.
