Abstract
PURPOSE:To complete impregnating work in a short time with an oil impregnating device by a method wherein a heated insulating oil with a low viscosity coefficient is supplied around an insulating object to be impregnated until completion of impregnation. CONSTITUTION:A closed circuit passes from oil drain valve 11 to check valve 15, deaerator 12 with oil heater, throttle valve 13, discharge regulator valve 16 and lower valve 6 of a main tank. In the circuit an insulating oil 9 deaerated by heating up to a fixed temperature is circulated. An air chamber 5 of a bellows 4 is connected to an air pressure detector 17 via an air valve 8, and air is enclosed so that a predetermined positive pressure is attained. Because a pressure insulating oil is pressurized to a fixed pressure and circulated around an insulating object to be impregnated in a transformer, an impregnating time can be reduced.
