Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a moisture absorption of insulative oil and decrease a required volume of oil when the oil immersion is performed, by a method wherein an insulation object is dried and immersed with oil in one tank. CONSTITUTION:Insulation object 4 which is dried and immersed with oil is stored in a tank 11 and then heated by a heater coil 2. Then, the vacuum pump 3 is operated to generate a vacuum condition in the tank 11. Subsequently, the heating operation is terminated, the valves 18a, 18c are opened, the oil in the oil reservoir 14 is fed to an injection pipe 16 by oil pump 13 through a filter 15 and atomized at the nozzle 16a. The remaining oil other than that absorbed in the insulator 4 is accumulated at the bottom of the tank. When the accumulate volume of oil is reached up to a desired value, the valve 18a is closed, the valve 18b is opened and the oil accumulated at the bottom of the tank is circulated by the pump 13. When a sufficient volume of oil is immersed into the insulation object 4, the oil in the tank 11 is recovered into the oil reservoir 14.
