Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a combustion of sludge transported through a pipe by a method wherein a sludge being reduced in its viscosity by a heating means of a hopper is transported through the pipe to an atomizer provided at the top of a combustion furnace by a pump and jetted into the combustion furnace to be burned with heated and pressurized air.
