Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the frequency accuracy of a low frequency oscillating circuit dependent upon the accuracy of a high frequency oscillating circuit and reduce power consumption by changing over the oscillation frequency of the low frequency oscillating circuit by the outputs of the high frequency oscillating circuit and a rate setting means. CONSTITUTION:The output signal fL1 of a low frequency oscillating circuit 2 is divided 4a, 4b down to a 1-second signal fs and the time is displayed by a motor driving circuit 5 and a pulse motor 6. The output of the front frequency dividing circuit 4a and the output of a high frequency oscillating circuit 1 are inputted to a phase comparator 3. By the output thereof and the regulating data in a regulating value memory 7, a frequency control circuit 8 controls the on and off of the transistors 2i, 2j of the circuit 2, and changes over the oscillation output fL1 of the circuit 2 to 2 stages, thereby providing the 1-second signal fs of the accuracy regulated by the circuit 1.
