Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a crystal clock with less consumption of electric power and high accuracy by controlling the oscillation frequency of a low frequency oscillation circuit with the output from a high frequency oscillation circuit oscillating intermittently. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency oscillation circuit 1 oscillates intermittently by the output from an intermittent control circuit 9. The output fH from the high frequency oscillation circuit 1 is compared in phase as at 30 with the signal which frequency-diviced the output from a low frequency oscillation circuit 2 as at 4a, being inputted to a frequency control circuit 80. Then, the output fH changes over the oscillation frequency by turning ON or OFF transistors 2h and 2i of the low frequency oscillation circuit 2. The output from the frequency-dividing circuit 4a is frequency- divided again as at 4b and is added to a motor driving circuit 5 to activate a pulse motor 6.
