Abstract

PURPOSE: To inhibit the adhesion of dusts onto the paint-applied surface of a strip, by arranging a filter in a circulating line formed inside an oven, and spraying an in-oven atmosphere clarified by the filter onto the surface of the running strip.
CONSTITUTION: In an oven where an in-oven atmosphere is sprayed onto the surface of a desired paint-applied metal strip 2 being running to continuously dry and bake the applied paint, a filter means 15 is arranged in a circulating line for inhaling the in-oven atmosphere by a fan 6 and spraying it through a duct 7 and hot air-injecting nozzles 3a, 3b onto the surface of the strip 2. Thus, dusts are separated from the in-oven atmosphere to be sprayed onto the surface of the strip 2, and the adhesion of dusts onto the paint-applied surface of the strip 2 is inhibited.
