Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus in which metal strips 2 coated with a given paint are drived and baked while being delivered, hot air-jetting mechanisms 5a and 5b are provided above and below the metal strips 2 running. And, a large number of hot air nozzles are arranged staggeringly on the upper hot air-jetting mechanism 5a and also a large number of hot air nozzles 6b are arranged on the lower hot air-jetting machanism 5b in such a way that the nozzles are positioned in a lozenge- shaped form in the running direction of the metal strips and also in plural rows on both sides of the lozenge-shaped. Hot air is blasted uniformly onto the whole surfaces of the metal strips running from the hot air-jetting mechanisms to heat and dry them.
