CONSTITUTION: A strip 1 is passed through coater rolls 11 and 12, and paint is coated continuously on both sides of the strip 1, after which the strip 1 is conducted to a drying zoneIand a baking zone II, where hot wind is blown from floaters 2 to float the strip 1 so that the strip is passed through the zoneIand the zone II in a contactless state. Said zoneIis constituted to inclined type wherein the inlet side is higher so that the strip 1 is conducted from the coater rolls 12 for depositing paint on the bottom surface thereof to the zoneIin the linear state facing diagonally downward.
