Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the operation stable, by by-passing a positive feedback loop when an output voltage is clipped. CONSTITUTION:At normal state, a diode 28 is at cutoff and it is turned on just before the output voltage is clipped. Thus, a current starts flowing from the collector of a transistor (TR)13 to a TR11 to form a by-pass circuit to a positive feedback circui consisting of capacitors 20, 21, TR11 and its collector resistor 22. Thus, the load of the TR11 is zero, that is, a closed loop transfer function K of the positive feedback is zero. Then, since the positive feedback loop is opened just before the output voltage is clipped, the unstability of the system at clipping can be avoided.
