Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain productively a synthetic resin product low in deformation without using a reforming process by a method wherein electric heaters are buried in the inner part of a fixture into which the product is fitted and it is heated.
CONSTITUTION: A box-type matrix 1 molded by synthetic resin is inserted into a fixture 2 of a rotary hot stamping machine. The fixture 2 is fixed to a substrate 4 fitted to the shaft 3 of rotation. Heaters 5 and a roller 6 of the fixture are heated, stamp foil 7 is pressed on the outer surface of the matrix 1 at the temperatures higher than the thermal deforming temperature and lower than thermal fusing temperature of the matrix 1 to revolve the shaft 3 of rotation and the stamp foil 7 is bonded by heating. Thus, there is scarcely difference of temperatures between the front and the rear of the matrix 1, it is heated uniformly, there is no fear of deforming in time of thermal contraction and no reforming process is required.
