Abstract
PURPOSE: To stably control the flow rate of the gas without producing any impact sounds and soot, by installing a plural number of pairs of a solenoid valve and a valve which presets the flow rate of the gas, connected in series, and by performing adjustments of the flow rate of the gas in more than two steps at the time of ignition and extinguishment.
CONSTITUTION: A ring-shaped burner 8 is positioned so that it will surround a joining portion 7 of steel pipes 1 and 2, and numerous spouting nozzles are installed on the inner surface of the burner 8. To an oxigen pipeline 9 system of the burner 8, numerous paris, for example, four pairs, of a flow rate setting valve F and a solenoid valve S connected in seiries are installed in parallel. The valves and the solenoid valves are designated as F1WF4 and S1WS4, respectively. Valves F5WF8 and solenoid valves S5WS8 are also installed in the same manner to an acethylene pipeline 10 system. The burner 8 is ignited in such a way that after a little amount of acethylene is supplied from the solenoid valve S5 and ignited, the solenoid valve S1 starts to work and an amount of gaseous oxigen set at F1 is supplied. Then, other solenoid valves start to work successively in the order of S6→S2→S7→S3→S8→S4, and the amount of gaseous oxygen and acethylene is gradually increased. The amount will reach the whole amount finally. When the fire is extinguished the inverse procedure is performed.
