Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the overvoltage output of a main power source due to the malfunction of an auxiliary power source by detecting the abnormal decrease of the auxiliary power source voltage to a switching regulator and interrupting the operation power source to a main switching regulator. CONSTITUTION:When the voltage Vcc of an auxiliary power source is lowered, the current of a constant voltage diode 45 is interrupted, a transistor (Tr) 43 is interrupted, and a drive power source VD is lowered. When the power source VD is thus interrupted, the operations of the main switching transistors 8, 9 are stopped. Accordingly the output voltage VD of the main power source regulator is lowered. Even if the power source voltage is remarkably lowered due to the malfunction of the circuit of the auxiliary power source Vc, the overvoltage output stage of the main power source due to the 100% of duty cycle can be avoided.
