Abstract
PURPOSE:To get rid of hang-up, by periodically applying a reset signal to a microcomputer, and always initializing the microcomputer, when there is no operation input in an input part. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating circuit 6 is a circuit for always triggering an FF 7 and 8 at a constant period, and the circuit consisting of an inverter gate 9, an integral network and a Schmitt gate 11 resets an output of the FF8 after a constant time has elapsed. In case when there is no key depression signal 5 from the keyboard to an input terminal S of the FF7, an output A of the FF7 which has been triggered by the circuit 6 is always ''H'', by which a reset signal being an output of the FF8 becomes ''L'' the moment it is triggered. This signal ''L'' passes through the gate 11 from the circuit 10 through the gate 9, becomes an output B after delay of a constant time, and is applied to a reset terminal R of the FF8. In this way, the reset signal 12 becomes ''H'', and hang-up of a computer is removed.
